AMZ’s NEW UPDATE: requiring sellers to provide melting temperatures for Amazon products

Amazon Sellers, at Rosenbaum, Famularo & Segall P.C., we’re learning of a new update Amazon is implementing as the weather starts to get warmer in the United States. It’s all about products that can melt while stored before being shipped to your customers.

Amazon is now requiring sellers of particular products to provide the product’s melting temperatures.

While we do not expect that Amazon will adjust the temperature in FBA warehouses, someone over at Amazon felt it was important for sellers to provide this, which might speak to a larger issue in quality control that Amazon is beginning to pay attention to.

As the saying goes, “It is easier to ride the horse in the direction that it’s going.”

As such, if Amazon asks you what the melting temperature is for your products, give them what they are asking for to preserve your business and keep thriving on Amazon.
