How to Get Rid of Prohibited Disease Claim Notifications for Restricted Products Sold on Amazon

Today, I’m here to talk to you guys about restricted products, but more specifically, products that make prohibited disease claims.

If you receive a performance notification stating that the product you’re selling is making a prohibited disease claim, you have one of two options:

Option one: remove the product. Fall on the sword and detail to Amazon that you made a mistake and you’ll no longer list the product again.

Option two: fight for the ASIN. In fighting for the ASIN, it’s important to know whether you’re FDA approved, because if you are, you can forward the documentation to Amazon and detail to them that the claims you’re making are actually substantiated. However, if you’re not FDA approved, you’re going to have to audit your entire listing page. When you audit your entire listing page, you need to scan for any keywords such as bolsters to immune health, warding off sicknesses, or anything that makes a claim that is not substantiated. Doing this usually helps a great deal.
