How to Pick Which Arbitration Process Is The BEST Fit For You
When it comes to arbitrations against Amazon, when Amazon won’t release your money to you or Amazon won’t return your inventory to you, there are two general types of arbitrations that they fall into.
One is expedited arbitration, which means you’re claiming $50,000 or less against Amazon.
And there’s non-expedited where it’s $50,000 or more.
First, I recommend that if you’re close to 50 or 60, 65, 70, use the expedited process, give up the extra money, because it’s faster and it’s cheaper and there’s no guarantee you’re going to win. So I would stick with the expedited process, even if you’re a little bit over the $50,000.
Full-blown arbitration is much more like traditional litigation. You have a lot more rights to discovery, getting information from Amazon. You have the opportunity to take depositions if you want to, but the money really has to be worthwhile.
