As a business owner, there are lots of benefits of attending trade shows and business trips. I’m going to get into some of the reasons why you should invest some of your business income in attending trade shows.
Okay. Why should you attend trade shows?
Number one, you’re going to end up interacting with people just like you. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out and I’m talking business, business, business. And my wife and family are like, “Would you stop talking work?” When you go to trade shows with business people just like you, that is the norm.
Number two, inspiration. When you’re working hard in your own silo, it helps to see other people gather ideas, it keeps you motivated.
Number three, the education that you get. The education that you can get from other entrepreneurs is absolutely great. I went on a business retreat sponsored by the Empire Flippers company, an online business brokerage. I got to tell you, I left with tons of great information and motivation.
Number four, I personally, absolutely love seeing the world. I’ve taken business trips to China, Australia, Thailand, Vegas, England. So, those are the reasons I think trade shows are worthwhile investment.
