We asked our three different teams of college-educated paralegals,
“What is wrong with these documents?
Would you ever submit these documents to Amazon?”
If you’re submitting documents to Amazon from allegedly the same company, LOGOS should MATCH. Never submit documents from the same company with DIFFERENT LOGOS.
If you are submitting documents to Amazon that are allegedly from the same company or the same distributor or from the same brand, the documents have to match, the logos have to be the same because the people that are reading these things are looking for reasons to find that you’re not legitimate. Amazon certainly weeds out smaller sellers, they certainly weed out people doing retail arbitrage, so whatever you’re submitting, only submit documents that are going to pass their review.
You don’t submit logos that don’t match up. They could be the same, they could be real but they just look fake. The fonts have to be the same. The dates have to match up. The quantities have to match up. We suggest you don’t black anything out. The invoices should be made out to YOUR Amazon account. They should be made out to the same email address that’s on your Amazon account. Everything needs to match up.
Don’t give Amazon any reason to reject invoices, your letters of authorization, your distribution agreements etc. You need to look at everything you are submitting to Amazon.
If you are submitting invoices, if you are submitting letters of authorization, if you are submitting distribution agreements, look at them. Make sure they visually look genuine. Visual connection between your product, your documents and the actual brand has to be strong.
