In this blog, we discuss three cases which exemplify the difference our team of attorneys and paralegals makes in getting your account back.

Appeal Account Amazon – Frozen Funds
One common strategy that Amazon employs in order to force compliance from their sellers is freezing inventory and account funds. This is commonly done when a seller has been suspended and there is the potential that refunds will need to be issued for their products. Under Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement (BSA), your funds may be held for a period of 90 days, however, this time frame can be extended indefinitely if the issues on your account are left unresolved.
For our recent client, he was hit with full blown account suspension and his account funds were frozen after being accused of malicious competitive behavior. This client attempted to create two appeals submissions on his own, which included all the correct information, but Amazon continued to refuse to reinstate his account.
After receiving the second appeal submission denial, he reached out to our team. Immediately, we began working with him to gather additional supporting documentation that showed the accusations were false. Within five days we were able to submit another appeal which detailed that the cause of the suspension was a mistake on Amazon’s end. This appeal then successfully unfroze his account, and completely unfroze the funds in his account.
While appealing the suspension was the right move for this client, it might not be the right move for you. If you are looking to cease operations on Amazon and are only focused on retrieving your frozen inventory and funds, our team can create appeals designed specifically for you. Amazon Related Account Suspension
Related account suspension can be an extremely confusing suspension to deal with on Amazon. Although Amazon technically only allows businesses to hold multiple accounts if they have a legitimate approved reason, their enforcement team often allows the use of multiple accounts unless one is suspended for another reason on the platform.
However, this is not the only reason that accounts are suspended for being related to another account. One common area of mistake on Amazon’s end is false related account suspension, where the enforcement team believes you are operating multiple accounts when you are not. This can occasionally occur as a result of signing into your account on public WiFi, or being in close proximity to other account holders.
For a recent Amazon Sellers Lawyer client, the accusations of having related accounts created a major roadblock as his account was entirely suspended. When we were contacted, we worked to create an appeal which demonstrated that his account was separate, leading to full reinstatement within a matter of days.
Amazon Inauthentic Products
If your products are suspended for being inauthentic, the language itself can be confusing as to what Amazon is accusing you of. Inauthentic product suspension is a result of Amazon believing that your products are not being sold as they are advertised. This can arise as a result of customer reporting, or Amazon’s automated systems.
Despite being one of the most common reasons for account and product suspensions, inauthentic cases can be some of the hardest for sellers to resolve on their own. This is because Amazon wants their customers to have positive experiences with all product interactions, meaning a hard stance is taken against sellers who are accused of potentially deceiving customers.
For another recent client, these accusations led to suspension of their largest product, shutting them down temporarily. When our team was contacted, we worked with our client and their manufacturer to verify the integrity of their products. With our first appeal submission, we were able to get reinstatement for the impacted product, ensuring the client’s account health was not impacted long term.
