What Happens When The FDA Reaches Out To Sellers with a Problem About Their Product?!
The United States Food and Drug Administration, the FDA is causing accounts and listings to be deactivated.
So the United States has several different government bodies that interact with you, the Amazon seller, on a whole host of different levels. And the FDA generally deals with food products and drug products.
So in this particular case, the FDA reached out to Amazon and informed Amazon that there was a problem with the product. Amazon reached out to our client and suppressed the listing.
This seller needed this listing reactivated with the killer plan of action to address the issues. So Briana, one of our awesome paralegals was assigned the case, worked with the seller, and identified that the notice by the FDA was not applicable to our client’s product. Briana was able to get this seller reinstated.
Now, this is not the only way that the FDA has reached out and touched sellers. It’s not the only time a seller has contacted us for help. We’ve also dealt with this situation when they’ve gone after the seller directly through an investigation because of food products sold through Amazon.
So sometimes the FDA will go through Amazon, sometimes they will come knocking on your door. Whichever it is, if you need help, we are here for you, we’re here for Amazon sellers seven days a week, 365 days a year.
