Amazon Denying Allegations & Bringing Counterclaims in Seller Arbitrations
Whether you’re facing the same issue that we’re going to be talking about in today’s video or any other issue as an Amazon seller, I want you to know, you can call us right now, or you can submit your case online. We have a huge case submit button. We will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.
When it comes to filing an arbitration against Amazon, it all starts with your demand for arbitration, where you assert your claims against Amazon, why it owes you money, why it owes you inventory, or should be compelled to pay for your inventory and whatever other claims you might have.
You need to be aware that in some cases, Amazon will not only deny your allegations, but could also bring claims against you (AKA counterclaims).
We’ve only seen this occur where Amazon has accused our clients of selling counterfeit goods, either as a third party seller or as an Amazon vendor. If you have any concern that your products were not 100% genuine, then you need to clearly be concerned about Amazon making claims against you. That via the sale of your counterfeit products, Amazon suffered damages and their claims can be significant.
So make sure that if you’re bringing Amazon to arbitration, that your products were 100% genuine, no if, ands, or buts about it, or you could be opening yourself up to counterclaims by Amazon.
If you want to learn more about counterclaims in seller arbitrations, we literally have dozens, if not hundreds of pieces of free content for Amazon sellers who are contemplating bringing Amazon to arbitration.
