How Sellers Can WIN Reactivation After an Inauthentic Suspension on Amazon

Brianna is telling us what the latest information on how sellers can win their restatement after suffering an Amazon seller suspension for the dreaded but very common inauthentic?
I think the first thing to do is to identify the issue.
In the most recent case I had, a customer complained that the logo on a wallet was not straight. And so, as an explanation, the only thing that the client and myself could come up with is that maybe it was a manufacture start over.
You know what? It’s so simple. I mean, the Amazon sellers, you don’t control the manufacturing flaws. And if you go back to the age of baseball cards, like when I was a kid, the baseball cards that actually had defects were worth more money, were more collectible than the ones that were perfect.
So maybe this consumer actually got a wallet that’s worth more money. All right, so there’s a manufacturing defect. Our seller didn’t move the logo on the leather wallet. How did you win reinstatement on this?
I definitely had them attach invoices that covered their full sales history. Whenever you’re working with an inauthentic, Amazon wants to see where you got those items from.
Additionally, I told Amazon that we would complete some quality control checks to make sure that no other items had defects, and if they did, we would pull them from inventory.
Brilliant. So, in this particular case, we had the goods. We had the invoices going back the full 365 and it gave us a lot of tools to work with. Now, often sellers, you don’t have everything. So here’s a golden nugget. Save all your invoices. Save all your sourcing documents. If you traveled someplace, keep your airline tickets and receipts and all that kind of stuff.
I also want you to be aware that, even in this case, since Brianna had all the invoices, we still win these cases without documents. So, Brianna, when you were fighting for this seller, did you win this the first swing at the plate?
I did actually, which was very good.
