Learning to help Suspended Amazon Sellers
Within an eye blink of getting the job with ASL I was given about 700 pages worth of reading. Every page relevant to my new vocation. All the relevance daunting and imposing. The reading delved into detail as to what the company did, how it helped clients, and how it interacted with Amazon. My first day of work had me receiving even more reading, and two DVDS to watch. These specifically on just copyright, and IP law. I was seated next to Anthony the whole day, and anything he did, he explained to me. This is easily the most thorough training I have received for any job. Anthony had started the morning by trying to explain what the firm did, and what my job entailed. I was already a step ahead of him on the broad strokes, and wanted grittier details. As said before, grittier details is more reading, and two dvds.
My experience with Amazon Sellers’ Lawyer and learning Suspension Prevention
My second day saw me jumping into writing Cease and Desists for Amazon sellers who have developed their own Private Label products. I have learned that creating your own Private Label brand is the current and likely future wave for Amazon sellers to grow. As some Amazon Sellers grow their private labels, others wrongly sell patented or products with protected intellectual property. We make sure that the private label sellers who do their due diligence and take the proper steps to gain these rights are thus rewarded. Most of the Sellers who infringe on the Rights Owner often do so out of ignorance, not maliciously. The single Cease and Desist is often enough to persuade Amazon sellers who are infringing on Private Label sellers to stop and move onto other products. We have several clients that we help with this issue on a regular basis.
My third day saw me making Plans of Actions for Sellers who were wrongly taken down. Many Sellers make the mistake of not staying on top of their metrics, or are not totally aware of Amazon’s policies. Running a business is extremely difficult. Running a business on the world’s most demanding platform is a another level. Amazon demands perfection, and as humans, we often fall short, but that is why we are here. We are able to get these Sellers reinstated promptly, and allow them to continue to run their business.
The work in the office is constant and collaborative. Everyone is constantly ploughing forwards working for the clients, and no voice is ignored. The office is full of educated and well trained people who can speak on cases on the same level as the attorneys. There is always someone at the office chipping away (I have the sinking suspicion Anthony may actually live at his desk). We know we are doing something special, and making something great. There is always a sense of satisfaction as another client gets reinstated. The office is constantly abuzz with energy. Anthony’s music pounds as fingers tap across keyboards, frantically. Voices raise, lower, and laugh as colleagues collaborate in our New York office blocks from the Atlantic ocean. All this in the pursuit of helping another Seller keep their business together.
