What sellers are experiencing over the last couple of days is being in endless appeal loops, sending in a plan of action, getting requests for more information, submitting a plan of action again, getting the same exact blurbs from Amazon staff in India. What you need to know as you’re getting into Q4 is that the people who are reading your plans of action are one, trying to do the right thing first for Amazon, and then also for you, even though that’s hard to believe. Number two, they have to be persuaded because number three, their time is extremely limited. Through my interviews of dozens of Amazon staff in India in October, I confirmed what we suspected. Amazon staff is under extreme time constraints. They have quotas as to how many plans of action they need to get through on any given day.
What this means for you is that you must, must, must write incredibly concise, yet persuasive plans of action that are well supported by documentation.
