How to Fight Baseless Copyright Claims with Amazon’s New Email for DMCA Counter-Notices
I’ve got breaking news for Amazon sellers.
Before we get to the breaking news regarding counter-notices, I want to let you know that if you’re a private label seller and you would like to source from someplace other than China, check out IndiaSourcingTrip.com. There are remarkable products available, high-quality products available from factories and suppliers located in India.
Okay, so what’s today’s breaking news?
Amazon seems to be phasing out [email protected] and that’s where you and Amazon Sellers Lawyer have been sending counter-notices. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, if someone makes a copyright complaint against you, you can serve what’s called a counter-notice. And if they don’t file a lawsuit against you because their complaint is bogus or for any other reason, the complaint disappears.
Now, the notices that we are receiving are coming from [email protected]. And this may be the new place, the new email address to send counter-notices.
