AMZ Insider Info 2/3/20 with CJ Rosenbaum: Amazon FBA Repackaging & Selling Returns Resulting in Customer Complaints? Doggie Dental Lawsuit Update
FBA repackaging and then sending the products back out to consumers.
In August or so, they took away the ability for you to remove returned inventory from your inventory and it’s going back out to consumers and there’s nothing you can do about it, so just grin and bear it. You need to know about it. It’s not your fault.
Brand protection.
If you’re a private label seller and you developed a trademark, you got brand registry, you’re starting to make sales and you have hijackers. Rob Siegel leads a team in my office of remarkable people that can build things into your product that take your products outside the first sale doctrine, which means we can get rid of the hijackers. Traditional brand protection, we do it the right way. We’re not one of those law firms who just complains about everybody with baseless complaints. We only represent sellers who’ve developed their own private label brands, and Rob can help you protect all of your sales.
If you have a patent and someone is violating your patent, there’s a special program in Amazon called the Neutral Patent Evaluation process. It’s cheap. It’s fast. It’s relatively easy. Rob has incredible success for our clients, so if you have a patent and someone is violating it, you have to get in touch with us. Ask for Rob Siegel directly.
Doggy Dental has started lawsuits against sellers.
Most of the lawsuits against sellers are against Chinese sellers. Doggy Dental has sued sellers right here in the United States. If you have been named in that lawsuit, get in touch with us 1-877-9-SELLER.
Hijacked listings are when someone starts selling your product and you need private label brand protection. Hijacked accounts are entirely different. Hijacked accounts are when someone gets into your account, they change your banking information. All of a sudden your money’s going to Croatia, or Spain, or any place except your bank account. Then you try and change it back and you repeatedly get shut out of your account. We have dealt with this more times than I can count.
