I never in a million years thought I would be delivering this great news for Amazon sellers… Breaking News Today: Amazon Issuing PAYMENT to SELLERS for OVERCHARGES
Okay, Amazon seller, so I never thought I’d be telling you this. Never, never in a million years did I think I’d be telling you that Amazon is going to, on its own volition, and I believe there’s something behind it, but who cares why it’s happening…
Amazon on its own volition is recalculating some of the fees that it charges you. It’s recalculating returns, it’s recalculating some storage fees, supposedly. And you should watch your accounts because Amazon says it’s going to issue some lump sum payments to Amazon sellers that it identified it was overcharging.
Now, I do not expect this to be thousands or tens of thousands of sellers. I have a feeling it’s going to be a really small portion of the sellers that Amazon is going to do this for, and that if you are owed money, if you have overcharges, you need to use a reconciliation company. But this is great news. Even if it’s only one seller or 10 sellers or a thousand sellers, this is really great news that Amazon is taking responsibility on its own initiative and sending you money.
