It can be extremely frustrating for Amazon sellers who receive notification that their account might be hacked or there was some unauthorized access to their account.
The most important thing to remember is to stay calm because Amazon is locking the account for your protection. Ultimately, once everything is resolved, you will gain access back, so the important thing is to remain calm first.
One thing you can do is to apply Amazon’s two-step verification security measure. This is a measure that you can apply through Amazon and what this does is every time someone goes to log into your account, it’s going to request some sort of verification code. Usually this is enough for Amazon to be considered a good measure to reinstate the account, but if not, you can do more.
Ultimately though, you want to draft a Plan of Action that’s thorough, send it to Amazon to ensure them that there’s no hacking or that the hacking has been resolved, and you should receive reinstatement of your account.
