Is Dropshipping Ending on Amazon? How Will Sellers Revive Their Businesses?
Is it the end of the road, or is this the beginning of the end of the road for drop shipping on Amazon?
That’s what today’s breaking news is all about, but before we get to it, I want to make sure that every single seller out there is aware of the ASD show in Las Vegas in August, and that I will be there teaching you how to thrive on Amazon. My partner Rob will be there with me, teaching you how to protect your private label brands.
Why am I concerned that drop shipping may be ending on Amazon? Because there is another huge wave of crackdowns on drop shippers.
If you are delivering products to Amazon’s consumers and it’s showing up in another brand’s packaging, you better fix that ASAP.
Also, if you are drop shipping and you get called out for an inauthentic and you need to provide an invoice, these cases are difficult to win. So I don’t think the end is here, but it certainly feels like Amazon is weeding you out hardcore, because our phones are ringing off the hook for drop shippers who are being suspended.
More importantly about dropshipping ending on Amazon, if you want to continue to thrive, start thinking about developing your own private label brand. It is the wave of the future. It’s the wave of the right now. By developing your own brand, you build something that you own that even Amazon cannot take away from you.
