AMAZON DROPSHIPPER CODE OF CONDUCT VIOLATION
Dropshipping is a great way to get started in ecommerce, but if you violate Amazon’s code of conduct, your account can be permanently suspended.
In this video, I talk about the steps dropshippers need to take to get reinstated if this happens to them.
Dropshipping Violations
Dropshipping on Amazon refers to when packages are distributed directly from a retailer and is labeled as a product of that company rather than packages processed through Amazon. Sellers should avoid utilizing this process as Amazon does not want packages to be distributed this way by sellers when they are capable of shipping inventory themselves or using FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) because it gives the appearance to customers that the product did not come from Amazon.
Our client, an Amazon seller, was recently suspended for code of conduct dropshipping violations and Amazon was holding their money until the discrepancy is resolved. We were able to get the seller account reinstated with the use of an efficiently written Plan of Action in addition to a spread sheet listing all of the orders from the Amazon seller and the tracking information for each.
