Accusations for Related Accounts Leading to Amazon Seller Suspensions
Amazon sellers, I’ve got some breaking news for you, and I’m really sorry that it’s not good breaking news.
Amazon has been going absolutely insane killing sellers with accusations of having related, or more than one account. Amazon’s incessant need to try and stop people from operating more than one account is resulting in some absolutely ridiculous suspensions.
If you change your credit card, you are at risk of getting suspended under the accusation of having related accounts. If you change from having your account under your personal name and try to switch it into an LLC or a corporation, you are putting yourself at risk of getting suspended for having related accounts at the most important time of the year. If you share a computer, a hotspot, you share any type of internet service, Mac address, IP address, anything at all, you are putting your accounts at risk at the worst time of the year.
So, if you’re an Amazon seller and your number one goal is to keep your Amazon account active going into Christmas, don’t make any changes. But if you are not working in the name of a corporation, you do have potential liability that can attach to you and your personal assets. So the decision whether to change that right now is yours. On the one hand, you may get suspended. On the other hand, you may incur personal liability, neither is a good choice.
Please stay tuned for breaking news. As we learn more, we update sellers all over the world.
