Some Brands that Should be Boycotted for Making Complaints Against Amazon Sellers
Some big brand names have resorted to bullying tactics to try to push away the competition. I have no doubt that this is because of insecurity in their own brand and products.
What Amazon sellers should know are the names of a few of these brands, and that we recommend them to be boycotted. Hopefully, that will send a message that their harsh measures do not go unseen, and that dirty tactics have poor effects on business. These are great lessons for everyone all around.
The first is The Sharper Image, which has fallen on some difficult times over the past few decades, including a bankruptcy in 2008. They sell everything online now, and even after shutting down their brick and mortar stores, have clearly struggled financially, or they wouldn’t be making numerous complaints against Amazon sellers.
Another business that may surprise you as having a cruel tactic of making complaints against Amazon sellers is Radio Flyer. They have been in business for a long time, and different designers and creators on Amazon may be making similar products like sleds, wagons, and tricycles for children. Radio Flyer has been making complaints against Amazon sellers undoubtedly to push out the competition, which is a sure-fire way to burn bridges, admit to product insecurity, and to certainly not make any new fans in this writer.
As an aside, I am the new Journalist for Rosenbaum, Famularo & Segall PC, and am constantly amazed by what I am learning about how Amazon sellers struggle with these issues. I have personally purchased from both brands mentioned in the above paragraph in the past, but after learning about these low blow schemes they are participating in, I am a customer no more, now to be boycotted. How we treat the competition matters.
I consider good business tactics to be shaking hands and saying, “good game” so to speak, to congratulate success, and then, to go back to look at your own products to see how you can improve. Don’t just try to push out the competition because it threatens you. I believe this reflects poor management all around.
Our team has incredible talent working for Amazon sellers. Our lawyers have an impressive background and track record in our litigation department. If you have been falsely accused of selling counterfeit products by any brand, large or small, you have rights. These rights pertain to the legal claims of defamation, as well as the legal claim of intentional interference with contract and/or negligent interference with a contract. You can use these legal claims as leverage, or if your damages warrant the cost of litigation, you can sue the big brands like Sharper Image or Radio Flyer. We’ve handled similar big cases against the Dallas Cowboys, for example.
We have a huge collection of resources for Amazon sellers on all of the subjects, so please feel free to take a look. We maintain the largest repository of information for Amazon sellers including six books that you can download. These include Copyright Law for Amazon Sellers, Trademark Law for Amazon Sellers, the Law Library for Amazon Sellers, and most importantly, the Suspension Book: how to avoid suspensions, and how to get your accounts back if you are suspended.
